This page will show you how you can bulk import contacts via a .csv file<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Follow these easy steps to bulk import your contacts<\/h2>\r\n

Step 1: Log in to your Inboxroad account<\/h3>\r\n

Start by logging in to your Inboxroad account<\/strong><\/a>. This can be done by visiting the Inboxroad website and entering your login credentials.<\/p>\r\n

Step 2: Navigate to your „Contacts“ tab and choose „My lists“<\/h3>\r\n

Once you enter the \u201cMy Lists<\/strong>\u201d tab, you will be able to see all your existing lists and create new ones. To create a new list, click the \u201cNew List<\/strong>\u201d button in the top right corner.<\/p>\r\n

Step 3: Create a new list and open it<\/h3>\r\n

You can choose a name for the list according to your preference.<\/p>\r\n

Step 4: Click on „New contact“ and „Import CSV“<\/h3>\r\n

You will be able to import a CSV file once you click on „Import CSV<\/strong>„.<\/p>\r\n

Step 5: Add your CSV file from the device<\/h3>\r\n

To add a CSV file, simply click on „Browse<\/strong>“ or drag and drop your file directly into the window.<\/p>\r\n

When done, click on „Continue<\/strong>„.<\/p>\r\n

Step 6: Check or add field names<\/h3>\r\n

Important: <\/strong>when importing, ensure that the „Status<\/strong>\u2019“ field values – either „subscribed“<\/strong> or „unsubscribed“<\/strong>\u00a0– are written in lowercase<\/strong>.<\/em><\/p>\r\n

Please note that the \u201cOverwrite existing contacts<\/strong>\u201d button will update or overwrite contacts that have already been imported.<\/b><\/p>\r\n

Additionally, this button can also be used to bulk unsubscribe contacts. To do so, change the \u201cSubscribed<\/strong>\u201d status to \u201cUnsubscribed<\/strong>\u201d in the .csv file.<\/p>\r\n

Step 7: Add missing field names or do not import them at all<\/h3>\r\n

If some of the fields are not automatically recognized, you can manually select their names from the dropdown menu.<\/p>\r\n

Step 8: Click on „Continue“ button<\/h3>\r\n

Import complete! You can now check all your contacts in the list.<\/p>\r\n
