Inboxroad – Teamleader Integration Guide
1. Introduction
The Inboxroad–Teamleader integration allows you to import your Teamleader contacts into your Inboxroad account for email‑sending purposes.
Inboxroad connects directly to the Teamleader API and retrieves your contacts, allowing you to keep Teamleader as your central contact‑management system while using Inboxroad to create segments, build campaigns, and send emails.
- How the Integration Works
- Inboxroad connects to your Teamleader account to import contacts
- Teamleader remains your source for contact data
- Inboxroad does not modify your Teamleader data, except for subscription status (subscribed / unsubscribed)
- Only subscribed contacts can take part in future campaigns
- Contact updates are synchronized automatically every 15 minutes or manually via the Inboxroad dashboard
3. Requirements
To use this integration, make sure you have:
- An active Teamleader account
- Contact lists available in Teamleader
- Functional Inboxroad account to create campaigns
Important: For every contact you want to upload from Teamleader, the “Opt‑in marketing emails” option must be enabled in Teamleader.

4. Updating Your Contact Lists
Teamleader remains your source of contacts in order to update:
- Make any changes to contacts inside Teamleader
- You can wait for automatic synchronization every 15 minutes or click Synchronize with Teamleader to sync instantly
Important:
Once you create a campaign in Inboxroad, the list used for that campaign becomes locked.
5. Tags and Data Structure
Teamleader tags are imported into Inboxroad as standard fields.
You can use these fields to filter contacts, personalize content, and build segments inside Inboxroad.
